Garage / Estate Sale Finds 9/12/13

Greetings!

Came across a few goodies yesterday (Thursday) on my lunch break and after work. I have the day off of work today and plan on hitting the sales extra hard. Here's how I did today:

Probably one of my best finds of the day. Discontinued Pottery Barn Reindeer Christmas Stocking Hanger. Paid $2 ... these sell for around $50-$70 a piece.
Painted Opera Masks from China. Paid $4 for the pair. Looks like these don't sell for much, but they are cool anyway and might do well as a pair.
4 Pairs of shoes for $10 - practically look new - I love rich people's garage sales! 3 Nike 1 Puma.
2 vintage plastic cigar boxes with eagles on them. Marked for the Windsor Company. Paid $1 for the pair.

Retro looking wooden Camelot wall clock. Paid $3.

Pair of heavy, metal Cherub / Cupid candle stick holders. Not sure of the metal but due to the wear and corrosion I think they are kind of old. Paid $3.
Busch Beer Tin. 1991. Christmas themed - paid .25 cents.

Pair of Vintage Ceramic Busts. Paid $1 for the pair.
Inarco Rag Doll figurine/jar. Paid .50 cents.

 Power King Lantern. Paid $5.

 Big Beam Lantern. Paid $5.
Retro Bar / Wooden/metal Alcohol Serving Tools with stand. Paid $1
This box was interesting. It's carved wood and marked made in Japan. There was a hand written note on the bottom of it claiming the previous owner received it when they were 7 years old. The estate sale was for an elderly person who I am assuming passed on so I would date this to somewhere around the 1920's to 1940's. Not sure who it's buy or how to figure out the value ... we will see how it goes. Paid $2.

Vintage metal container marked Friske of Marks made in West Germany. Paid $1.

Total spent on inventory: $38.75
Estimated Resale Value: $350 - $450.

Happy Hunting!
